“Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.”

– Ryunosuke Satoro

Mission Trails Regional Park encompasses more than 8,000 acres of both natural and developed recreational areas. Its rugged hills, valleys and open areas represent a San Diego prior to Cabrillo’s landing in 1542. Since 1988, the Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation (MTRP) has helped protect, preserve, and enhance Mission Trails, one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Jennifer Morrissey, Executive Director of Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation, oversees many park initiatives from habitat restoration and trail maintenance to facility construction (Visitor Center and the new ranger station), and education programs including lectures and youth programs.
