Three of Episcopal Community Service’s programs have been identified as “essential services” by San Diego County and are continuing to operate:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1) Uptown Safe Haven – transitional housing program for homeless adults with mental health disorders⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) Para Las Familias – children’s counseling program which serves young children and their families ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3) Central East Regional Recovery Center (CERRC) – outpatient substance use disorder program. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In order to prioritize the health and safety of both our clients and staff while providing much needed mental and emotional support, Para Las Familias and CERRC are communicating with their clients remotely. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
ECS Board Member, Joan Huck’s leadership and dedication makes it possible for ECS to serve our community especially during the extra strain caused by COVID-19. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
